Abstract
In the light of the shortages of the traditional library's literature resources construction,this paper puts forward some new ideas of strengthening the construction of municipal public library's literature resources,which include establishing the guiding policies for the construction and utilization of the literature resources and the principle of optimizing the structure of the literature resources,and giving full play to the functions of library's holdings,etc.
