Abstract
To reveal the nutritive value of the wheat straw treated with alkali and supplied urea, the feeding experiment was done with.which Hebei fine-wool sheep which were fed with the wheat straw. The results showed: (1) When the sheep being fed with the straw, live weight gain, gain concentrate ratio and straw intake increased. The wheat straw treated with 7% Ca(OH)2+2% urea was best in nutitive value. (2) When the sheep being fed with the wheat straw, supplied with 274g concentrate and some acid feed, daily gain was 98.21g and gain concentrate ratio was 2.79. (3) Acid feed is one kind of materials increasing the feeding value of the wheat straw.
