Abstract

This paper analyzes the regional earthquake characteristics, geologic structure and geological engineering conditions of Pingshang Reservoir Project area in Shanxi Province, and holds that under the influence of regional earthquake, Pingshang Reservoir would have the possibility of reservoir-induced earthquake, but the earthquake intensity is lower than VI degree.
