Study for Spatial Decision Support System Based on GIS

Abstract

Geographic Information System (GIS) and Decision Support System (DSS) develop respectively for many years,have many formation examples. Spatial Decision Support System (SDSS) is one kind of new pattern which develops on the basis of these two systems,this paper unifies geographic information system and decision support system,proposes decision support system based on spatial information. Also proposes the importance to SDSS of studying knowledge engineering and spatial data mining.
