Abstract
This study empirically analyses the full consumption coefficients and input-output coefficients, and calculates the contribution of industrial structure to the economic growth based on the input-output data of 1992-2005.The results showed that the most effective ability to promote economic growth is the second and third industries;but the change of industrial structure has no obvious effect to economic growth. The industrial change is incompatible with economic growth. Therefore, further adjustment of industrial structure, and the mutual adaptation of economic growth and industrial structure are effective approaches for promoting health and sustainable economic growth in China.
