Study on Restraining the Efflorescence of Ready-mixed Mortar by Using Waterproofing Agent

Abstract
Based on the causes of efflorescence of ready mixed mortar, the restraining effect of silane waterproofing agent on efflorescence of mortar was studied. And the influence on the mechanical properties of mortar was also studied. The experimental results show that the silane waterproofing agent can effectively decrease the degree of efflorescence of mortar, and the mechanical properties of mortar are still very well after the silane waterproofing agent to be blended in.
