Abstract

The low flame spread flammability is one of the basic characteristics determining the surface burning performance of lining materials. All materials were tested in accordance with IMO Resolution A.653. The test criterion, apparatus, test principle and procedure were introduced simply in this paper. and also discussed some problem of the low flame spread flammability for marine materials in the view of fire testing.
