Abstract
Based on actual rainfall intensity of the studied area, rainfall simulator was used to measured corn canopy interception, throughfall and stemflow in the whole growth period.Differentiation characteristics were analyzed by leaf area and rainfall intensity. The results showed that canopy interception capacity was different.Under different growth periods, the average of canopy interception, stemflow and throughfall amounts were 8.42%,35.38% and 56.19%,respectively.Under different rainfall intensity, the average of canopy interception, stemflow and throughfall amounts were 7.53%,26.79% and 65.68%,respectively.Interception,stemflow and throughfall amounts were statistically significant positive correlated with rain intensity.Interception and stemflow amounts were statistically significant positive correlated with leaf area, while throughfall amounts had statistically significant negative relationship with leaf area.
