Abstract
In the foundation design of the main Workshop of 2×135 MW coal gangue power plant under Datong Energy Limited Liability Company, the designers and surveyors optimize and analyze the foundation conditions carefully, make the technical economical comparison between the natural foundation and the artificial foundation, and through the soil body test and theoretical calculation, finally determine to adopt the natural foundation with the form of reinforced concrete strip foundation. And the current settlement observation shows that this optimized design is rational and necessary.
