Abstract
A high efficiency biodegradable green corrosion inhibitor using polyaspartic acid, sodium lignoslfonate or their mixture on carbon steel was developed in this paper,by the weight loss method. Results showed that the rate of corrosion inhibition was up to 94.56% when the concentration of PASP was 200 mg/L,while the corrosion inhibition properties of SLS was poor with the rate of corrosion inhibition of only 30% when the concentration of SLS was 300 mg/L.When the SLS was add to the PASP system, the rate of corrosion inhibition was obviously improved. The rate of corrosion inhibition was up to 92.42% when 200 mg/L SLS was added to the water and the concentration of PASP was 40mg/L.So,it saved the amount of PASP and reduced the cost.
