Abstract
The urban system of Central China in Northern Song Dynasty centered around the capital and was grouped by a senies of towns along the prefecture capitals.Kaifeng was the core of the cities in Northern Song Dynasty.Therefore,studying the role of Kaifeng in urban system of Northern Song Dynasty can on one hand provide valuable historical references for the construction of urban cities’on the other hand,has great influence on the civilization process of Kaifeng.
