Abstract
The revised the Trade Union Law clearly puts forward that safeguarding the workers' legitimate rights and interests is a basic duty of the Chinese trade unions The unions should independently develop the system of collective consultation and collective contracts and democratic management in enterprises according to law under the leadership of the CPC At present, the unions should strengthen the education of common interests between the workers and the enterprises, protect the workers' rights of employment, strengthen unions' self-improvement and reform, and promote the stability and successful reform in enterprises
