Study on the influencing factors of smoothness of highway asphalt pavement and their countermeasures

Abstract

The pavement smoothness is an important index to evaluate the service performances of grade highway. In this paper combined with engineering experience the reasons influencing the smoothness of asphalt pavement are analyzed in detail, at the same time some corresponding measures are proposed to ensure the pavement's smoothness and enhance the quality of pavement engineering.
