A Comparative Analysis of Urbanization Level between Jiangzhe Region and South Korea

Urbanization is one of our country's important strategies in new century. Jiangzhe region, which is the most advanced economic region in our country, should plays a more important role in urbanization process of entire country. This article, based on comparison of Jiangzhe region to South Korea, analyses current situation in city system of Jiangzhe region (an area which covers Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces and Shanghai) and points out Jiangzhe region must develop large city and super city if it's urbanization wants to be leading in entire country. In order to establish perfect city system, large, middle and small cities must be developed harmoniously. More attention should be paid to development of large and super cities, especially. Besides, according to dynamic change and potential analysis of Jiangzhe region, this article outlines the blueprint of future city system of this region, which can be used for reference in directing city system construction of some region, even the whole country.
