Abstract
AimTo make the analyses of sedimentary microfacies of the Chang 6 oil reservoir in the northern Chuankou Oilfield more accurate and reliable.MethodsThe stratum was chipped into slices and the description of the sedimentary evolution from Chang 6_2 to Chang 6_1 was quantified by MATALAB.ResultsThe transformation from specific sedimentary thickness to time unit was realized. Make the complex sedimentary process simplify, and the stratum was chipped into slices. The sedimentary microfacies which were recognized in chang 6 reservior such as channel microfacies, natural bank microfacies, distributary bay microfacies etc. were well explained.ConclusionThe Chang 6 oil reservoir is considered representing the evolution process in which delta front was gradually transformed into delta plain and meadering river.
