Abstract
Object To study the effect of PP333 on growth and development of Lonicera japonica Thunb. and quality of honeysuckle, so as to find the most suitable using concentration for honeysuckle production. Methods UV spectrophotometry was used to determine the content of chlorogenic acid. Results It showed that PP333 restrained shoot lengthening growth, increased leaf area, raised yield, and increased chlorogenic acid content in honeysuckle. And lower concentration of PP333 (such as 100 mg·kg -1 and 200 mg·kg -1) showed a better effect. Conclusion Low concentration of PP333 was good to honeysuckle production.
