Abstract
To study the problems of transformation and scale effects of crops, fields, irrigation districts and basins, the water allocation and cycle model is employed as the technical method.By selecting water saving measures at different scales and setting several schemes of water saving, the agricultural water saving potential in Tuhaimajia River Basin is calculated and analyzed considering economic, social, ecological and environmental effects. The results show that the water saving potential of resources in Tuhaimajia River Basin is 0.778 billion m3,and that of irrigation is 1.300 billion m3,respectively.The scales of the crops and irrigation districts still have certain water saving potentials.
