Abstract

In this paper, the idea that PE is the body was questioned. The development and change of the concept ofphysical has already experienced three periods: Education of Body, Education through activities and Education in sports. As a result we can get three kinds of the explanations of the concepts respectively. The explanation of the concept of physical has a universal implication. In China, physical is still in the primary stage of education in sports, we should not interpret physical into education of body.
