Abstract

Through studies to performance of cement stabilized crushed stone base materials with different gradations(the floating dense gradation and framework dense gradation)and compaction standards(heavy compaction and vibration compaction),it is found that:under the same aggregate gradation, using the vibration compaction instead of heavy compaction as the compaction standard can improve the performance of cement stabilized crushed stone material, and the influence of gradation to the strength can be divided into two situations:under the heavy compaction, the skeleton dense gradation could reduce the strength of cement stabilized crushed stone material, however under the vibration compaction, skeleton dense gradation could improve the strength.
