A Study on the Planning and Development of Urban Creative Industry Park

As an effective means to promote the development of creative industry,the development of urban creative industry park has drawn more and more attention.Starting with elucidating the concepts of creative industry and creative industry park,and based on the analysis of the development of creative industry park in some Chinese cities,this paper discusses some important issues in the process of park's planning and construction,including the park's location decision,industry orientation,functional layout,and 'creative environment' creation.The operating mechanisms of creative industry parks have also been explored as the last part of the paper.
