Abstract

The postmeodernist cultural turn shows a change from modernity to postmodernism.The rapid spread of consumerism and popular culture breed postmodernist turn.TV culture,as a form of popular culture,demonstrates its postmodern characteristics in its technologies,aesthetic values,narratives,etc.The postmodern nature of TV culture brings about sign fantasy,visual fantasy,and entertainment fantasy,which deserves our careful and rational examination.
