Abstract
Acetone and butanol fermentation by Clostridium acetobutylicum GX01 using fresh potato as fermentation substrate was studied. The fermentation condition was optimized. The research results showed that the optimum fermentation condition was: the initial concentration of sugar is 90 g/L,the soybean meal is 4.2 g/L,the FeSO4.7H2O is 0.08 g/L,the fermentation temperature was 37 ℃,and the fermentation time was 60 h.The yield of butanol and total solvent under the optimum condition were 17.02 g/L and 29.39 g/L,respectively.
