Abstract
In this paper,Sowning turfgrasses in the same year as research object,we made gradient shading for them and observed and measured their growth from the beginning of turfgrasses seedling.The result showed that the plant height was improved by shading,and the change trend of plant height was increased first and then decreased,and it indicated the biggest value that the shade 45%of the plant was the highest.The weight of individual plant was the biggest without shading,and it was decreased as shade increased,and the size of root was decreased as shade increased,the density of twigs showed the same change trend with the weight of individual plant.And there are severity effect of high shading on the growth and establishment of Poa pratensis.
