Abstract

Qing is one important concept in ancient Chinese philosophy and Aesthetics.Liuxie commented on the language,style,and other aspects of literature with it.Its primary meaning is the elegance and refinement of the overall outlook of literature.In other words,works with this feature can express ideas clearly with beautiful words and give people a sense of overall aesthetic pleasure.As a literary aesthetic category,the position of Qing can be formally established in Wen Xin Diao Long.
