Abstract

In order to improve diagnostic level of malignant melanoma,47 cases of malignant melanoma(MM),which were diagnosed from 1980 to 2005,were selected to be made clinicopathologic analyses retrospectively. The clinicopathologic features of MM were quite diverse.By microscopy, malignant melanoma was composed of epithelioid cell, fusiform cell, small nevus cell, tumor giant cell etc.The arrangement of tumor cell could be in nidulant, acinous, fascicular, interlaced or diffuser distribution. The analytic results showed that for melanoma, combining clinicopathologic features, HE staining and immunohistochemistry staining,we could make a final diagnosis in time.
