Abstract
China had the richest bamboo resource in the world.Bamboo plants had a lot of characters,such as wide distribution,fast growth,high yield,wide application,sustainable utilization in successive years and so on,so they had extremely high ecological value.Its special biological characteristics had important function in environmental improvement and water and soil conservation.This article based on the predecessors′ researches,and classified bamboo plants ecological functions,in order to provide reference for the development of ecological function of bamboo plants,and promote the ecological studies of bamboo plants.
