Abstract
Objective To investigate the changes of immediate-early response gene(c-fos,c-myc,cjun) in vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMC) after autogenous vein grafts. Methods Autogenous transplanting vein models for 60 rats were developed. The changes of vascular VSMC proliferation and immediate-early response gene were detected by using immunohistochemistry technique. Results Expression of c-fos,c-jun,c-myc was observed at 2 h after the grafting.Expression of c-fos,c-jun peaked at 6 h after the grafting and c-myc at 1 week. Conclusion Expression status of c-fos,c-myc,c-jun is closely related to VSMC proliferation and regulates for it,particularly in the initial stage.
