Abstract

Objective:To understand the influenza virus strains subtype variations and influenza epidemic tendency, and provide scientific basis for the development of influenza prevention and control strategies. Methods: The real time RT-PCR method was used for detection of nucleic acids and type identification. Results: One hundred and sixty-eight throat swabs and gargling liquid samples were collected for influenza virus detection, fourteen cases were found influenza virus nucleic acid positive, including 5 new A(H1N1) cases and 9 influenza B cases. The period from January to March in 2011 was the influenza epidemic peak in Haiyan county, with the alternation of new A(H1N1) and influenza B.Conclusion: In 2011,the influenza positive rate was 8.33%,new A(H1N1) and influenza B virus were predominant from January to March, but influenza B virus went to the top after September. The people above 25 years old were the high-risk population in the epidemic period.
