Abstract
Using the broadcast ephemeris and precise ephemeris provided by the international GPS service for geodynamics(IGS),the precision and change law of the orbit computed by GPS broadcast ephemeris are analyzed.The orbit precision of broadcast ephemeris is about 5 meters and the orbit errors have the change law of periodicity.In addition,based on the principle of point positioning the effect of broadcast ephemeris error on point positioning is analyzed.
