Abstract
Carboxyalkylthiosuccinic acids was synthesized by 3-mercaptopropionic acid and maleic acid as raw material. The relatively accurate methods of group contributions were applied to estimate the standard enthalpy, standard free energy of formation, standard entropy and heat capacity of each component. The relationship formula of the reaction enthalpy, reaction free energy and reaction equilibrium constant changing with temperature were established.Based on the thermodynamics calculation and analysis of the reaction system, the conclusion that the reaction was practicable in thermodynamics could be obtained.
