Abstract
In the present paper, by new method we have established a new strong convergence theorem for the Ishikawa iterative sequences with errors without the restrictioon that {α_n} is decreasing for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in uniformly convex Banach spaces. Our results improve and prefect the corresponding results announced by Schu, Rhoades and Zhou Hai-yun.
