Abstract
Oseltamivir is an inhibitor of neuraminidase enzyme of influenza virus. In this article, the action mechanism, pharmacokinetics, clinical efficacy, safety, tolerability and antiviral activity of oseltamivir for prevention and the early treatment of influenza are summarized. It is concluded that early oral administration of oseltamivir improves the effectiveness of influenza treatment. [
