Abstract

This paper researches a three-phase voltage source type PWM rectifier based on one-cycle control(OCC).The control laws of a three-phase PWM rectifier by one-cycle control are deduced. Its logic is simple and the multipliers and input voltage sensors are not needed. The control can be implemented by the general integrate circuits and electronic devices. The input current can be controlled to follow the sinusoidal reference in each switching cycle, low current distortion and unity power factor can be achieved in the proposed rectifier based on Multisim 2001,a simulation model of three-phase voltage source PWM rectifier based on one-cycle control is proposed.A 6 kW three-phase PWM rectifier with OCC is designed and implemented. The input current can automatically follow the line phase voltage in a sine wave and the unity power factor is realized in fixed frequency operation.Simulative and experimental results verify the theoretic analysis.
