Technical feasibility analysis for remanufacturing technology of hydraulic cylinder

Abstract

Hydraulic cylinder is the key component of construction machinery. To conserve resources, reduce manufacturing costs and protect the environment, cylinder honing technique is used for remanufacturing process.Through developing honing process and setting honing parameters, remanufactured cylinder is got. ANSYS is used for analyzing and comparing computation for new and remanufactured parts. The result shows that compared with new parts, the honed cylinder's stress and displacement in the thickness direction are in line with the requirements,which indicates that the stiffness and strength can meet the requirements. It is proved that hydraulic cylinder remanufacturing technology is feasible.
