Abstract

The dynamic changes of nicotine and total nitrogen in flue-cured tobacco with different agronomic treatments were studied. The results indicated that the increasing delay time after topping resulted in the increase of nicotine content and decrease of total nitrogen in upper leaves with which the application level was positively correlated while the planting density and the leaf population were negtively correlated.
