On the Historic Destiny of Marxism Historiography in China

Since mid-1980s,Marxism has confronted with a world-wide severe challenge.The historic destiny of China's Marxism historiography has gradually become the focus of the academia.Towards the bias of weakening the leadership of Marxism theory in the academia,some famous historians,such as Liu Danian and Gong Shuduo,illustrate such important issues as the values of Marxism theory and the relationship between historiography and politics.It is of great significance to properly understand the historic destiny of Marxism historiography in order to adhere to the guidance of Marxism theory and to propel healthy development of Chinese historiography.
