Abstract
Objective: To probe the best extraction condition and the stability of pigment from orange peel. Methods: The content of the pigment was measured by the method of spectrophotometric analysis. Results: The best condition was achieved using the CHCl3 as extraction reagent, with its ratio of liquid to solid being 10:1(ml,g),with 3 h of extraction, and the temperature of extraction 30 ℃.Conclusion: The pigment is comparatively stable.
