Abstract

Lining words in the music of Zhuang's drama of Yunnan fall into eight categories and thirty kinds,which vary in the arrangements and types of words.Lining words can portray characters,express feelings,present conventions onstage and highlight ethnic features,thus they,together with main words have become the principle factors,therefore occupying a leading role in Zhuang's drama.
