Abstract
The metadata management is an emphasis of the research on data warehouse technique based on the decision support, and the metadata can make very good description of the data in the data warehouse. This paper introduces the contents and functions of the metadata in the data warehouse, and expounds the concrete working flow of the metadata in the data warehouse.
