Abstract
【Objective】To detect the expression of CD40 in allograft renal biopsies and peripheral blood samples of allograft receptor's.【Methods】Allograft receptor's renal biopsies and peripheral blood samples were taken on different phase after transplantation,The expression of CD40 was detected with immuohistochemical methods and flow cyctometry.【Results】A total of 198 samples of renal biospy were obtained from 53 patients. No CD40 expression was deteced in preoperative renal, and only occasional CD40 expression in some cases of protocol renal biopies with nomal renal function. The expression of CD40 in endothelial cells, epithelial cells and inflammation cells were 21%,39% and 60%,respectively After anti-rejection therapy, the expression of CD40 was negative. The expression of CD40 in NO-AR groups was significantly lower than AR groups. The number of CD40+ and CD154+ cells was significantly increased during AR and returned to pre-transplant levels immediately after anti-rejection therapy.【Conclusions】The expression of CD40 in grafts and peripheral blood samples is correlated with clinical renal rejection.
