Implications of German Land Consolidation Experience for Chinese Land Consolidation Development

In Germany,importance has been attached to the integration of land consolidation and economic and social development,and there has been a sound legal system,emphasizing the planning control and focusing on multi-participation and basic information construction.It has proved that the German land consolidation has played an important role in the promotion of rural development and urban-rural integration.Now that China is on a stage of rapid economic and social development,it is proposed that we should use for reference the German experience in land consolidation and make the rural land consolidation as the fundamental way out to promote rural development,relying on innovated mechanism and improving legal system to promote healthy development of land consolidation;meanwhile,focus on ecological landscape construction and sustainable land development in land consolidation,so that the land consolidation would play a more important role in the process of building a new socialist countryside.
