Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the clinical application of CT virtual endoscopy (CTVE) in the larynx. Methods:CTVE of the larynx, including 12 cases of normal and 3 cases of laryngeal carcinomas and 6 cases of vocal cord polyps which all are proved pathologically, were reconstructed. Results:CTVE could demonstrate more data in displaying anatomical structure and lesions of the larynx.CTVE corresponded well with actual laryngoscopy and operation. Conclusion:CTVE is a noninvasive and accurate procedure and helpfrul for clinical doctors to treat and operate the laryngeal diseases.
