Probe on the water washing with genesis of high solidifying point crude oil

The recovering of the crude oil with high solidifying point is a hard nut to crack. It is very important to study the genesis of the crude oil with high solidifying point, which is conductive to the measures taken to reduce the solidifying point of crude oil in recovering. In this paper, the whole hydrocarbons and light hydrocarbons of some oil samples with high solidifying point from Dagang Oil Field were measured. In combination with geological conditions, it is concluded comprehensively that the high solidifying point oil is mainly concerned with the water washing of crude oil during migration. The lost of light hydrocarbon, especially benzene and toluene, is responsible for the high solidifying point in crude oil. Moreover, water washing also influences some light hydrocarbon indexes commonly used.
