Abstract
Linux 2.6 kernel introduces a unified device driver model,which can support intelligent power management,hot-plug and pnp perfectly.Based on the source code of Linux kernel ver2.6.10,this paper introduces the device model of Linux 2.6 kernel,analyzes main data structures and components which are device model built on in detailed,including the principle of kernel object mechanism and components of device model.
