Abstract

Objective TO Study the effecacy and safety of patient-controlled analgesia with epidural tramadol. Methods 120 patients undergoing gynopathy and pregnancy operaion were randomly allocated to patient-conrolled epidural analgesia(PCEA)group or received tramadol(MI) group(n=60).The PCA solution consists of tramadol 600mg,dropiridol 10mg,0.5% bupicaine 20ml and NS74ml.Loading dose of tramadol was 1mg/kg,and background inusion 2ml/h,bolus 0.5ml,lockout time 20min.The severity of pain, total dosage of tramadol used in 24h,patient's satisfaition, inccidence of nausea and vomiting were assessed. Results The patient's satisfaition of PCEA was over 90%.Conclusions PCEA with tramadol for postoperative pain relief is efficent and safe.
