Abstract

Molecular imaging with positron emission tomography (PET) is an important field of molecular imaging. This article summarizes the fundamental of PET molecular imaging technique and its application in protein function, gene expression and gene therapy, receptor imaging, and blood-flow infusion and metabolism imaging.
