Abstract
Objective:To summarize cause analysis and nursing of the leakage of intravenous fluids in children. Methods:Statistics 126 cases leakage of pediatric intravenous infusion occurred in our section during 2009 year, the clinical data were analyzed retrospectively.Results:126 patients by intravenous infusion leakage in children with 2-6 days of treatment and care, all the self-absorption of cured and none of localized tissue necrosis. Conclusion:In children with intravenous infusion process, the nurses enhance accountability, strengthen the inspection, detection early and processing of transfusion failure timely, the incidence of fluid leakage can be reduced effectively to protect the infusion safety of children and improve quality of care in pediatric intravenous infusion.
