Abstract
Being after power and being tame is a special outcome of the Chinese traditional culture. Long-term feudal autocratic rule, influence from generation to generation by feudal ethics, selections of officials by the imperial examination systems over and over again have brought about the social cultural order which takes for granted the supremacy of the imperial power, bureaucratic practices, and the male chauvinism in society. Through an analysis of the power worship complex in Zaju of the Yuan dynasty, we can see clearly the presence of the social cultural order from one aspect of history.
