Review and reflections on the definition of urbanization

Abstract

Urbanization is one of the most frequently used terms in the field of modern social sciences,but people have different views about it.Different subjects give different definitions for it from the different perspectives.Considering the definition and standard of city,urbanization and industrialization,township,rural urbanization,reverse urbanization,the quality and quantity of urbanization and integration of city and countryside,this paper reviews some related literatures and gives the clear definition of urbanization.
