Abstract
Four kinds of environment-friendly flocculants were made with natural biological products chitosan (CTS),ferric sulfate(Fe_2(SO_4)_3) and polymeric aluminum chloride(PAC) as main raw material, and the domestic wastewater of Wuhan Bioengineering Institute was treated by the flocculants and the removal efficiency of turbidity and COD under different ratio,dosage of the compound flocculants and pH of water were researched.Results showed that the CTS / PAC compound volume ratio was 1:5, the dosage 8 mL/L,water pH 7.2,the water removal rate of COD 78.5%,98.3%removal of turbidity, best flocculation effect and least pharmaceutical dosage.
